Spurtles
Maple Stick Spurtle - $10 A spurtle, in case you don’t know, is a Scottish kitchen tool used to stir porridge & other foods. I know what you’re thinking: That’s just a stick.  Why would I pay 10 bucks for a stick?  I’ll tell you why: My spurtles are made from maple sticks, debarked, dried, sanded smooth & finished with 100% pure, food grade tung oil. Each one has a knobby end for a good grip.  And these are no whimpy spurtles.  They are about 15” long & 3/4” thick - good for heavy mixing when those cheapo wooden spoons just won’t do. I use mine for blending bread dough ingredients before starting the mixer.
